gather around and hear/read my rant

Everyone (and by everyone i mean just those who know anything about me) knows that i watch a shit load of television. Although i watch a lot, there are really only a few shows that i really, REALLY love. I thought i should share a bit of the love, perhaps start a little camp fire with all of you and together we could make yummy smores and talk all about how awesome these shows are, chanting and singing campy songs while joining hands.
I can't go on without first talking about Pushing Daises, probably my all time favorite TV show from the last couple of years, definitely my favorite show this year. I just don't get why some people don't like it! sure at the very surface of it appears too pretty and too childish, but under it all lies amazingly witty lines and loving characters with their issues, and of course some really great crimes. and most of all, it's just grand to look at. With it's colourful sets, gorgeous costumes, and hot actresses, how the frak is it being considered for cancellation when it is the only show EVER that has successfully created a fairy tale yet realistic world filled with happy thoughts and delightfully funny dialogue... i don't get it.
it makes me really mad.
if Pushing Daisies gets canceled i will pushing giant daisies in influential peoples faces...
or i will just cry in my room while eating pie.

ze next show that i am loving a plenty thus far is of course the adorably nerdy Chuck... from the show Chuck, i don't mean Chuck from Gossip Girl because he is just awesomely creepy, and i don't mean Chuck from Pushing Daises (although we are secretly lovers... keep that on the DL)
i mean Chuck Chuck. the show Chuck has a great ensemble cast, not the best ever, but the best for the type of show Chuck is. You've got the nerds, the hard core spies, and the doctor couple... you can't go wrong with that, plus never has a show made comic books and video games so damn sexy!

ah and last but not least tis 30 Rock... Personally it trumps The Office.. that's right i said it. I like 30 Rock more than The Office. I'm sorry Rainn Wilson, can we still be best friends? Not to say i don't love The Office, because i do, i really do. But Tina Fey is just incredibly awesome and has created a work-place environment that i want to work in... i want to be Frank and i want to go to one of Kenneth's lame and slightly creepy parties, and i want to have sandwich day, and work with crazy Tracy Gordan, and, and... i would even be a homeless person sleeping outside 30 Rockefeller center if it means i could some how be a part of the show. seriously, it's the most hilarious thing on TV since Arrested Development. and it doesn't hurt that it has the most kick ass guest stars... i mean Will Arnett, Carrie Fisher, and Oprah... what's next? my mom!

anywho, just thought i would share a bit... sure it's nothing thought provoking or critical, but i was in a ranting mood and what better things to rant about then my favorite shows of this year... I should however give some shout outs to Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (Sarah Connor never looked so hot, nor has a terminator), Psych (cuz the bromance that is Gus and Spencers makes me giggle so much), and How I Met Your Mother (any show that dresses NPH as a lesbian = genius).

Lacking Heroes

Just wanted to post something short and to the point...
I am worried about Heroes... What has happened to it?! First season was awesome, 2nd season was, well not great, but I still stuck by because in my heart I knew it would get better, so I was excited to hear the Time Kring himself realized the error of his ways and will bring the Heroes we once knew and loved. But sadly, there are a lot of things that went wrong this season, specially during last weeks episode which took place primarily in the future... There were things overlooked, many things just left me confused, and just a sloppy episode. I mean how the frak did Peter die (TWICE) if he has the ability to heal... I DONT GET IT!!! anywho. yesterday I realized something, there must be something wrong with this season of Heroes if I chose to switch to One Tree Hill rather than watch the entire show. By 9:30 I was more interested in seeing what the annoying broody Lucas had to say then Nathan... WHAT HAS THE WORLD COME TO?!
Please Tim Kring, Please stop making the show more confusing than it has to be, and just get back to the comic book feel and mystic that was once an amazing show, one that made me want to be a hero.
I still have hope though. I will continue to watch Heroes at 9, but whether or not I watch for the entire hour depends if Claire Bennett trumps Brooke Davis... it was never supposed to come to this.
